Dr. Paramita Dhar Chakraborty

Ph.D (Law)

Dr. Paramita Dhar Chakraborty has over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration. She commenced her teaching career as an Assistant Professor in 2004. Headed Institute as In Charge for 12 years. She served as Coordinator, Department of Law and Good Governance, University of Kalyani and also remained as Dean (acting), School of Legal Studies, The Neotia University. Dr. Chakraborty has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, possessing a deep understanding of curriculum design and pedagogy. She has an impressive publication record, with distinguished papers in National and International Journals, including UGC Care Listed Journals and Scopus Indexed Journals. Dr. Chakraborty's research interests lie in Constitutional Law, Property Law, Family Law, Mediation, Torts and Environmental Law.

Mr Iftekhar Ali

LL.M

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College, a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from Hooghly Mohsin College, and a Master's degree from Burdwan University. He practiced law as an Advocate at Hooghly Judges Court from 2005 to 2009. He then transitioned to academia, serving as Teacher-in-Charge at Balurghat Law College for two years. His scholarly contributions include published chapters in edited books on Islamic Law, Women's Rights, and Environmental Issues, featured in Issues Journal. He has also actively participated in various international and national seminars. Since August 11, 2011, he has been serving as Lecturer-in-Charge at this institution.

Mrs Amrita Sanyal

LL.M, WBSET, UGC NET PhD

She has obtained B.A from Rishi Bankim Chandra College, LL. B degree from Burdwan University and LLM from Burdwan University. Mrs. Sanyal has started her academic carrier as Assistant Professor of Law in the year 2011. She has qualified UGC NET (qualified for Ph.D) and SET, WB. She is pursuing Ph.D from Burdwan University, WB. Published many articles in various National and International journals.

Mrs Trisha Majumder

LL.M

She has obtained her B.A.LL.B (H) degree from Snehangshu Kanta Acharya Institute of Law (SKAIL), Kalyani University in 2010. She has completed her Master's degree (LL.M) with specialization in ‘Business Law' from Amity University (Amity Law School), Lucknow Campus in the year 2012. She has presented various papers in National and International seminars in various locale. She is very interested in the field of Gender Justice and Feminist Jurisprudence. She has published a designated chapter in the notable book. She has started her academic carrier as Assistant Professor of Law from 2012. At present she is pursuing Ph.D. (Law) from State University of Rajasthan.

Miss Mita Paul

LL.M

She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree from S.K. Acharya Institute of Law, Kalyani University, and a Master's degree in Law from Haldia Law College, Vidyasagar University (2010-2012). Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. from the NIILM University, Kaithal, Haryana. She practiced law as an Advocate at the High Court, Calcutta, and Kalyani Sub Division Court, Kalyani, from 2012 to 2015. Her academic expertise extends to environmental law, as evident from her published Article on environmental issues. She has also actively participated in various international and national seminars. Since 2012, she has been teaching as an Assistant Professor of Law at JRSET College of Law.

Mr.Rajat Halder

LL.M

He holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (B.A LL. B) degree from S.K. Acharya Institute of Law, Kalyani University, and a Master's degree in Constitution and Administrative Law from Bankura University, Bankura. With a strong academic foundation, he practiced as an Advocate in the High Court at Calcutta and Barrackpore Sub Division Court since 2019. His academic contributions include publications in various Edited Books and journals. He also completed a credit course on Human Rights Litigation and Advocacy Strategies at the National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata in 2016. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Law at JRSET College of Law, since 2021.

Mrs. Madhurima Sarkar

LL.M

She obtained her B.A.LLB (Hons.) from University of Kalyani in 2017 and has completed her Master’s from Bankura University being the First Class First (Gold Medallist) in 2022 on “Constitutional and Administrative Law”. She was practicing as an Advocate in District Judges Court Hooghly from 2017 to 2020 and after practicing she was serving as Assistant Professor of Law at Rabindra Shiksha Sammilani Law College, Calcutta University from 2022 to 2023. She participated and attended various National and International Seminar,Workshop and Symposium.

Ms. Monika Kumari

LL.M

Ms. Monika Kumari is presently teaching as an Assistant Professor of Law in JRSET College of Law since August, 2023. She obtained B.A LL.B. (Hons.) from The University of Burdwan and two years LL.M from Aliah University, Kolkata. Before joining academics, she was practicing as an Advocate in various courts of West Bengal and Jharkhand state. She was invited by Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India and met His Excellency in 2018 and she also got an invitation to meet Mr. Keshari Nath Tripathi, the then Governor of West Bengal at Raj Bhavan, Kolkata in 2017. Ms. Kumari is a prolific researcher and writer, with over several articles published in edited books and journals, and she has presented various papers in National and International Conferences and attended various Workshop and Symposium. Her scholarly work covers a wide range of legal topics, contributing to the academic discourse and development of legal studies. Her research interests are diverse and include Jurisprudence, Family Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Environmental Law.

Ms. Aindrily Sett

LL.M

She earned her Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL. B) degree from the prestigious Surendranath Law College, affiliated with Calcutta University. She then pursued her Master's degree in Criminal Law and Criminology from Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, where she excelled and received the Gold Medal in her specialization. With a strong academic foundation, she practiced as an Advocate in the High Court of Calcutta since 2018, honing her expertise in the field. Her scholarly contributions include published chapters in edited books on contemporary topics such as data privacy, cybercrime, and AI-powered technologies like ChatGPT. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor at JRSET College of Law, a position she has held since September 2023, where she shares her knowledge and experience with the next generation of legal professionals.

Ms. Rumika Minj

LL.M, UGC NET

She obtained B.ALL.B degree from Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri and Master degree from Amity University, Jaipur (Rajasthan) in Constitutional Law. She has qualified UGC NET in June 2023.Presently she is teaching as an Assistant Professor in JRSET College of Law since 2023. She is pursuing Ph.D from Burdwan University, WB. She has actively participated and presented Papers in various Workshops, National and International Seminars.

Ms. Krishna Majumdar

LL.M

She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL. B) degree from S.K. Acharya Institute of Law, Kalyani, and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Sister Nivedita University, which she completed in 2023. Prior to her academic pursuits, she gained valuable professional experience through her practice at the Krishnagar Judge Court from 2021 to 2022. Her academic expertise extends to international trade law, as evidenced by her published article on "Dispute Settlement under WTO: The Issues and Challenges".She is persuing Ph.D from Amity University Kolkata.

Ms. Manali Dutta

She obtained B.A.LL. B degree from Surendranath Law College under Calcutta University 2016-2021, and LL.M degree from Kanyashree University. She has practice at Krishnagar Judge Court. She has participated in various National and International Seminars and has published various article in reputed Journals. Area of Interest – Criminal Law, Victimology

Mrs. Ifrat Ara Jahan

LL.M, WBSET, UGC NET PhD

Mrs. Ifrat Ara Jahan is currently working as Assistant Professor of Law since April, 2025 in JRSET College of Law. She completed her LL. B (Hons.) degree from the Department of Law, The University of Burdwan in 2022 and her LL.M (specialization in corporate law) degree in 2024 from Hooghly Mohsin College, The University of Burdwan. She also qualified in WBSET in 2023 and UGC NET PhD. in 2023. She has actively participated in various training courses and she completed two certification courses - one in civil drafting & litigation and another in AI and law.

Ms. Sohini Roy

M.A

With a strong academic foundation in Political Science, she graduated from Kalyani Mahavidyalaya, University of Kalyani, and later earned her Master's degree in Political Science from the same university. She also holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from Santipur P.T.T.I, Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at JRSET College of Law, where she has been teaching since 2023.

Ms. Reshmee Dyuti Dutta

M.A, M.Phil

Her academic journey in sociology began with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Calcutta, followed by a Master of Arts degree from the University of Kalyani. She then pursued her M.Phil in Sociology from the University of Kalyani (2018), specializing in "Globalization and Development Studies". With teaching experience at SKAIL, Kalyani (2 years) and JRSET College of Law. She has established herself as a dedicated educator. Her academic pursuits extend to presenting papers and participating in international and national conferences, workshops, and seminars.

Mrs. Anuradha Das

M.A

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master of Arts degree in Sociology, both from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Additionally, she has completed her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. With a strong academic foundation, she has been a dedicated faculty member at this college since 2013, bringing her expertise and experience to the classroom.

Mrs. Anamika Kuri Pramanik

M.A, M.Ed, SET(WB), UGC NET

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in English from Bhairab Ganguly College (University of Calcutta) and a Master's degree in English (M.A.) from West Bengal State University, specializing in English Language Teaching (ELT). Additionally, she has completed her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Swami Vivekananda College for Women Education (WBSU) and Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the West Bengal University of Teachers' Training. Since 2016, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor of English, bringing her academic expertise and passion for teaching to the classroom. She has qualified UGC NET and SET, WB. She has published various chapters in the edited Books.

Mrs. Sukla Das

M.A

She completed her B.Sc. degree from Bethune College, Calcutta University, and her Master's degree from Kalyani University. She also earned a B.Ed. from B.T. College, Kalyani University. She taught Economics at Swami Vivekananda Centenary School (ICSE) for three years and at JRS Public School (CBSE) for two years. Since 2020, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics at JRSET College of Law.

Mr. Debraj Mondal

M.A, NET

He earned his B.A. in Political Science (Honours) from Kanchrapara College, University of Kalyani, and his M.A. from Kazinazrul University. He successfully qualified for the U.G.C. NET in June 2021. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at JRSET College of Law.

Mrs. Rupa Dev

With over a decade of experience in library management, Mrs. Dev is a seasoned librarian dedicated to promoting knowledge and learning. Holding a Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLISc), she has established herself as a respected professional in her field. Mrs. Dev's expertise extends beyond library operations, as evident from her publications in two esteemed edited books on Library and Information Science. Her contributions showcase her commitment to advancing the field and sharing her knowledge with the academic community.
